Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive southeast toward Tsavo West National Park. Upon arrival, enter the park and begin your first game drive as you travel toward your lodge or tented camp.

Tsavo West is known for volcanic scenery, rolling hills, lava flows, natural springs, and diverse wildlife. Watch for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and birds. Arrive at your lodge or camp, check in, and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy an extended game drive through the park, visiting scenic viewpoints and areas near water sources. Your guide will share information about the park’s wildlife and ecosystem. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a morning game drive as you depart Tsavo West. Morning is an excellent time for wildlife viewing before the heat of the day. Continue to Tsavo East National Park, famous for its vast plains, rugged wilderness, red soil, and large elephant herds.

Enter the park and continue with a game drive toward your lodge or camp. Check in and enjoy lunch before relaxing.

In the afternoon, explore Tsavo East’s red-earth landscapes. Look for red-dusted elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hartebeests, and other wildlife. The park also offers excellent birdwatching opportunities. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo East – Voi Train Station – Diani Beach

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Tsavo East before exiting the park and continuing to Voi Train Station.

Board the train to the coastal region and enjoy a comfortable journey through southeastern Kenya. Upon arrival at the designated coastal station, meet your driver and continue by road to Diani Beach.

Check in at your resort and enjoy lunch or refreshments, depending on your arrival time. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the white-sand beach, swimming, or enjoying the resort facilities. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Diani is known for its clear waters, coral reefs, and beautiful coastline. Optional activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, kite surfing, glass-bottom boat trips, Wasini Island excursions, dolphin watching, and cultural tours.

Activities are available at an additional cost and depend on availability and weather conditions. Return to the resort in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy another relaxing day in Diani. Spend the morning swimming, reading, taking photographs, or enjoying the beach and tropical scenery.

Optional activities may include water sports, snorkeling, diving, nature walks, village visits, or a trip to the Colobus Conservation area. You may also choose a spa treatment or a leisurely lunch at the resort.

Spend the afternoon at your own pace and enjoy your final dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Diani Beach – Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Depending on your arrangements, transfer by road to the coastal train station for your train journey to Nairobi, or continue by road according to the confirmed schedule.

Enjoy lunch en route before continuing your journey. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon or evening and transfer to your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. This marks the end of your 6-day Tsavo and Diani bush and beach safari.
