Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by an Afriquest Travels representative who will assist you with your luggage before transferring you to Airport Guest House for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 2

Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls

Early morning pickup from Entebbe and drive north towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience, learning about Uganda's rhino conservation programme while observing southern white rhinos in their natural environment.

After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest national park. Enjoy wildlife sightings on the way to your lodge. This park is renowned for its roaring rapids and expansive plains, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, hart beasts, buffalo, and elephants.

You will also be captivated by the large populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles. Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled by the park's 450 bird species, including the elusive shoe-bill stork, dwarf kingfisher, whitewashed horn bill, and the Goliath heron.
Upon arrival, you will Check in at the Lodge and Relaxation.

Day 3

Wake up early for breakfast and depart for a morning game drive across the northern sector of the park.
Look out for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kob, hartebeest, waterbucks, warthogs and, with luck, lions and leopards.
Return to the lodge for lunch.

After Lunch, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Victoria Nile from Paraa Jetty towards the base of Murchison Falls. The approximately 17-kilometre journey offers an excellent opportunity to experience the Nile from the water while observing wildlife along its banks.

The highlight of the excursion is reaching the base of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile is forced through a narrow gorge before plunging into the turbulent waters below. Here, you will have time to appreciate the spectacular scenery, capture photographs and experience the power of the falls from the river.
Later you will visit the top of the falls to witness one of the world's most powerful waterfalls before heading back to your lodge.

Day 4

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls and drive south towards Kibale Forest National Park.

Along the way, you will pass through picturesque tea and banana plantations, offering a glimpse into the local agriculture. There will be a stopover at a tea plantation for some photos before continuing to your lodge.

The journey passes through rural communities, plantations and beautiful countryside.
Arrive in the afternoon, check into your lodge, have lunch and relax in preparation for the following day's chimpanzee trek.

After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for briefing before beginning your chimpanzee trekking experience.
Today, you will have the opportunity to track the famous chimpanzees of Kibale National Park. With 98% genetic similarity to humans, these primates are our closest relatives

Kibale is also home to a remarkable variety of other primates, boasting more species than any other East African forest. Alongside chimpanzees, you may encounter red Colo bus monkeys, red-tailed guenons, black and white colobus monkeys.

Enter Kibale Forest with experienced guides and trackers to search for habituated chimpanzee communities.
Along the trek, you may also encounter monkeys, forest birds and other wildlife.

After lunch, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided community and nature walk. The experience provides excellent opportunities for birdwatching and viewing several primate species. And also engaging with the local Community.

After breakfast, depart Kibale for Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Drive through the scenic crater-lake region towards the park.

Upon arrival check into the lodge and have Lunch.

After lunch, Enjoy a memorable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of the highlights of a safari in the Park. The channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward and provides an exceptional setting for viewing wildlife from the water.
As you cruise gently along the channel, look out for large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs and other wildlife gathered along the shores.

The channel is also a rewarding destination for bird enthusiasts, with opportunities to spot African fish eagles, kingfishers, pelicans, herons, storks, cormorants and African skimmers, among many other water-associated species. The cruise typically lasts around two hours, making it a perfect complement to the park's game drives.

After return to the Lodge for Relaxation and Overnight.

Have an Early breakfast and Embark on a morning game drive where will have a chance to see different wildlife species, after return to the Lodge and Check out then drive south towards the Ishasha Sector, renowned for its scenic savannah landscapes and famous tree climbing lions.

Depending on your safari schedule and wildlife sightings, enjoy a game drive through Ishasha, with opportunities to encounter elephants, buffaloes, topi, Uganda kobs, warthogs, hippos and other wildlife.

Continue through the beautiful countryside of southwestern Uganda towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey gradually changes from open savannah to rolling hills, lush vegetation and spectacular highland scenery, offering a fascinating transition into Uganda's gorilla country.

Rise early and enjoy breakfast before heading to the Rushaga Gorilla Trekking Trailhead for a briefing by the park authorities. After registration and allocation to a gorilla family, begin your trek into the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas.

The trek takes you through dense rainforest, steep slopes and beautiful forest landscapes, accompanied by experienced ranger guides and trackers.

Once the gorilla family is located, spend a precious moment observing these remarkable creatures in their natural habitat. Watch as they feed, rest, groom and interact with one another.

After the trek, return to the trailhead and transfer back to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.

Later in the afternoon, embark on a Batwa cultural experience within the surrounding Bwindi community.

Return to Lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation, reflecting on an unforgettable day of gorilla trekking and cultural discovery.

After an early breakfast, depart Bwindi and travel towards Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, home to the endangered golden monkeys. Upon arrival, proceed to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing before beginning your golden monkey tracking experience.

Enter the beautiful bamboo and montane forests of Mgahinga in search of these lively and striking primates. Golden monkeys are endemic to the Albertine Rift and are known for their distinctive golden orange coats and energetic behaviour.

After the experience, leave Mgahinga and continue towards Lake Bunyonyi, travelling through the scenic highlands of southwestern Uganda. Upon arrival, Check in at the lodge. Enjoy lunch and some time to relax before embarking on a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi.

Cruise across the calm waters of the lake while taking in the spectacular scenery of the surrounding terraced hills and numerous islands.
