Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or residence in Nairobi. Depart the city and drive north towards Sweetwaters, located within the renowned Ol Pejeta Conservancy, enjoying scenic views of the changing landscapes as you travel through Kenya’s central highlands.

Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch before relaxing briefly.

In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive through Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Explore the open plains and wooded areas in search of the conservancy’s abundant wildlife, including African elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, antelopes and both black and white rhinos. Ol Pejeta is particularly renowned for its successful rhino conservation efforts, making wildlife viewing here a truly special experience.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Explore Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Enjoy an early breakfast at Sweetwaters before heading out for a morning game drive across the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Explore the expansive plains and wildlife-rich habitats in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and both black and white rhinos.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.

In the afternoon, visit the Northern White Rhino enclosure, offering a rare and memorable opportunity to see these critically endangered rhinos and learn about the conservation efforts dedicated to preserving their genetic legacy.

Later, continue with an afternoon game drive through the conservancy, enjoying further wildlife viewing as the animals become more active in the cooler evening hours. Watch for predators, grazing herds, and other wildlife against the scenic backdrop of Mount Kenya.

Return to Sweetwaters in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Sweetwaters before checking out and beginning your drive back to Nairobi. Journey through the scenic landscapes of Kenya’s central highlands, with an opportunity to make a brief stop along the way, time permitting.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, proceed directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your onward flight. Your driver-guide will assist with the transfer and ensure you arrive at the airport in good time for your departure, marking the end of your Sweetwaters & Ol Pejeta safari experience.
