Day 2

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, begin your game drive through the park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands and diverse wildlife. Explore the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions and a variety of bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later, leave Tarangire and continue toward Karatu and the Ngorongoro Highlands.

After breakfast, depart toward the Ndutu Area, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the short-grass plains of Ndutu. Upon arrival, begin your first game drive in search of the migrating wildebeest and zebra herds.
During the calving season, the plains can become an incredible gathering point for the migration. Thousands of wildebeest may be present, with newborn calves attracting predators and creating exceptional wildlife-viewing opportunities. Continue with an afternoon game drive before arriving at your luxury camp.

After an early breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu plains. Today's safari is dedicated to experiencing the Great Migration during the calving season. Your experienced guide will monitor the location of the herds and select the best areas for wildlife viewing.
Look for large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and other predators attracted by the abundance of prey. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing with the afternoon game drive. As the afternoon progresses, continue exploring the plains before returning to your luxury camp for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. Explore the crater floor, home to an exceptional concentration of wildlife. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the crater safari before ascending the crater walls. After leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, continue by road toward Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon or evening, where your 8-day Ndutu Calving Season Luxury Safari comes to an end.
