Arrival and Sunset Game Drive in Manyeleti

Guests arrive at Hoedspruit or Hoedspruit Airport and are transferred approximately 1 hour 20 minutes to Ndzhaka Tented Camp, tucked away in dense riverine forest inside Manyeleti Game Reserve. Manyeleti, meaning Place of Stars, is the unfenced northern extension of the world-famous Sabi Sands and borders both the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve and Kruger National Park, offering access to the same Big 5 wildlife with far fewer vehicles. After a late lunch on arrival and time to relax at the camp's waterhole, guests set out in the afternoon on a sunset game drive that continues into a night drive with spotlights, tracking nocturnal wildlife across this 23,000-hectare traversing area. The day concludes with a signature bush boma dinner served under the stars.

Full Day Game Viewing in Manyeleti

An early sunrise game drive departs at 05:30 and explores Manyeleti's 23,000 hectares of unspoiled wilderness for three hours, followed by a bush breakfast enjoyed out in the reserve. Guests then have free time to relax around the lodge, enjoying the waterhole and watching elephants, nyalas and other wildlife wander through camp from their private deck. After lunch served at the lodge, the afternoon brings a second sunset game drive that again continues into a night drive with spotlights, giving guests the chance to spot nocturnal predators such as leopard and lion in this exclusive, low-traffic reserve bordering Sabi Sands and Kruger National Park. Dinner and overnight follow back at camp.

Final Game Drive and Departure from Manyeleti

On the final morning, guests head out at 05:30 for one last sunrise game drive through Manyeleti, savouring a final opportunity to view the reserve's resident Big 5, leopards and lion prides in near-total solitude before returning to camp. A bush breakfast is enjoyed back at Ndzhaka Tented Camp at around 09:00. Afterwards, guests depart camp and are transferred back to Hoedspruit or Hoedspruit Airport for onward travel, bringing this exclusive, intimate safari experience in the unfenced wilds bordering Sabi Sands and Kruger National Park to a close.
