Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, meet your private Seresafari Africa safari guide and depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-and-a-half-hour drive. Known for its large elephant herds, the park is named after the Tarangire River, an important water source for wildlife, especially during the dry season.

Enjoy a private game drive through the park, searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelope and, with some luck, lions and leopards.

Tarangire is also renowned for its impressive birdlife and ancient baobab trees that create a spectacular landscape. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with your game drive and later transferring to your luxury accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet remarkably diverse destination set beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Begin with a game drive through the park’s lush forests, open plains and lakeside areas, where you may encounter elephants, baboons, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and a wide variety of birdlife, including flamingos. With some luck, you may also spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.

Day 4

After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel through the cooler highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, stop at a scenic viewpoint to admire the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater before continuing toward the southern Serengeti.

As you enter Serengeti National Park, the landscape opens into vast grasslands renowned for spectacular wildlife and the Great Migration.

Depending on the season, you may witness large herds of wildebeest, zebra and antelope moving across the plains in search of fresh grazing and water. After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and continue toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Tanzania’s most remarkable natural wonders.

As you approach the crater, enjoy spectacular views of the ancient volcanic caldera, with its lush forests, open grasslands, lakes and acacia-dotted landscapes. Descend into the crater for an exciting game drive across the crater floor, where you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebra, gazelles, elephants, buffalo, lions and an incredible variety of birdlife.

With some luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino. After your wildlife experience, ascend the crater and continue to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
