Arrive in the South African Lowveld, where you will be met and transferred to Rissington Inn near Hazyview for three nights.

Settle in and enjoy the relaxed surroundings of the inn, with the remainder of the day at leisure. Hazyview is ideally positioned between the Panorama Route and Greater Kruger, making it a convenient base for the first part of your journey.

Hazyview & Panorama Route

Spend two days exploring at your own pace from Rissington Inn. One of the great attractions of staying near Hazyview is easy access to the Panorama Route, where mountain roads lead towards dramatic viewpoints, waterfalls and the immense landscapes surrounding the Blyde River Canyon.

How you spend these days is deliberately left flexible. Explore the Panorama Route, visit nearby attractions or simply slow the pace before your safari begins.

The Panorama Route and other excursions are not included in the tour price, allowing you to choose how much or how little you would like to do. We can arrange private touring, a hire car, and additional activities as part of your tailor made journey.

Greater Kruger Safari

Leave Hazyview and transfer into the Greater Kruger for three nights at Xanatseni Private Camp in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve.

From here, the rhythm of the journey changes completely. Your stay includes all meals and two game drives each day, heading into the reserve in the cooler morning and afternoon hours when wildlife is most active. Explore by open safari vehicle with experienced guides, searching for elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and the many other species that inhabit this remarkable wilderness.

Between drives, return to camp for meals and time to relax. With three nights in the reserve, you have two full safari days as well as activities on your arrival and departure days, giving you time to settle into the natural rhythm of the bush.

Departure

Wake early for a final game drive in the Greater Kruger before returning to camp for breakfast. Afterwards, transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your onward journey, bringing your seven day Lowveld adventure to a close.
