Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and journey south toward Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views of Kenya’s countryside along the way. Upon arrival, enter the park and enjoy a game drive as you make your way toward your lodge or camp.

Check in and enjoy lunch before taking some time to relax. In the afternoon, head out for an extended game drive across Amboseli’s open plains, wetlands, and acacia landscapes. Search for the park’s famous elephants, often seen against the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro when weather conditions are clear.

Keep watch for lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and numerous bird species. Enjoy the beautiful evening scenery before returning to your lodge for dinner and your first overnight in Amboseli.

In the afternoon, embark on an extended game drive through Tsavo West, exploring its volcanic landscapes, rugged hills, lava formations, open plains, and natural springs. Search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife.

If time allows, visit the remarkable Mzima Springs, known for its clear waters, hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
