1-Day Aberdares National Park Day Trip & Karuru Falls

Enjoy a scenic game drive through Aberdare National Park, where winding tracks lead through dense forest, bamboo and open moorland.
Look out for buffaloes, bushbuck and other wildlife along the way, with the possibility of spotting elephants among the trees. The thick vegetation makes each sighting a rewarding surprise, while birds and dramatic highland views add to the experience. Pause for photographs and enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you explore this beautiful mountain wilderness.

Visit Karuru Falls after and take in the breathtaking sight of water cascading into a deep, forested gorge. There will be a short descent to the viewpoint where you will admire the surrounding greenery, listen to the rush of the falls and enjoy the cool mountain air. Take time for photographs and soak in the peaceful beauty of the Aberdare highlands.

End your day with lunch at Treetop Restaurant or similar before embarking on your journey back to Nairobi.
