Transfer from Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel through the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop at a viewpoint before continuing to the Maasai Mara. Arrive at Mara Maisha Camp in time for lunch or a late lunch, settle in, then take an introductory evening game drive. Return to camp for dinner and your first overnight stay.

Maasai Mara Safari Experience

Spend three rewarding days exploring the Maasai Mara from Mara Maisha Camp. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, travelling through varied habitats and scenic areas in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, cheetahs and other plains wildlife. On another day, begin with an early morning game drive when animals are especially active, return to camp for breakfast and relaxation, then head out again for an afternoon-to-sunset drive. Continue your exploration with a morning game drive in a different part of the ecosystem to broaden your wildlife-viewing opportunities. After lunch and a short break at camp, choose between a final evening game drive or an optional, respectfully arranged visit to a local Maasai community. Each day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at Mara Maisha Camp.

Transfer from Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Enjoy a final breakfast at Mara Maisha Camp before checking out and beginning the journey back to Nairobi. Depart the Maasai Mara through the Sekenani area, taking in the last views of the open plains, rural homesteads and surrounding countryside as you leave the reserve. Continue towards Narok, the main commercial town serving the greater Maasai Mara region, where you may stop for lunch, refreshments or a brief comfort break. After the stop, proceed through the scenic highlands and descend towards the Great Rift Valley, with changing landscapes along the way. Continue onward to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on road and traffic conditions. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your agreed hotel, residence or airport location, marking the end of your five-day Maasai Mara safari.
