Arusha to Serengeti

Your safari begins with a transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to the Serengeti. Enjoy beautiful aerial views of Tanzania’s landscapes as you fly to an airstrip serving your selected lodge or tented camp.

Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and begin exploring the Serengeti with a game drive en route to your accommodation, depending on flight timing and arrangements.

After lunch and check-in, head out for an afternoon game drive across the endless plains. Search for wildlife in the grasslands and wooded areas, with opportunities to spot predators and large herds of grazing animals.

Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation beneath the African skies.

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before setting out for a full day of wildlife exploration in the Serengeti.

Your experienced guide will take you through wildlife-rich areas in search of the Big Five and other iconic African species. Watch for lions resting in the grass, cheetahs scanning the plains, leopards concealed in trees and elephants moving through their natural habitat.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Depending on the season and the location of the migrating herds, you may encounter enormous concentrations of wildebeest and zebras. Your guide will tailor the day's route to current wildlife movements and the best viewing opportunities.

Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.
