After breakfast, check out and depart Samburu for Lake Nakuru National Park, travelling through Kenya’s changing landscapes toward the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy scenic views along the way as you journey south.

Upon arrival, enter Lake Nakuru National Park and enjoy a game drive as you make your way toward your lodge or camp. Check in and enjoy lunch before relaxing briefly. Later, head out for an afternoon game drive in this renowned wildlife sanctuary. Search for black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, and, with luck, lions and leopards. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Spend a full day exploring the spectacular Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. After an early breakfast, venture into the reserve for extensive morning and afternoon game drives, following wildlife-rich plains, riverbanks, and open savannahs in search of the Big Five.

Watch for lions resting in the grass, elephants moving across the plains, buffalo herds, elusive leopards, and other remarkable wildlife. Between July and October, you may also witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, depending on herd movements and river-crossing conditions.
