Arrival at JRO – Transfer to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the lodge, enjoy the surrounding scenery, and prepare for your exciting wildlife adventure.
Your guide will brief you about the safari, the journey to Ndutu, and the wildlife experiences awaiting you in Tanzania's famous southern Serengeti ecosystem.

Arusha – Drive to Ndutu

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and drive toward the beautiful Ndutu region, passing through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy views of the Great Rift Valley, traditional Maasai settlements, and the changing scenery as you approach the southern Serengeti plains.
Upon arrival in Ndutu, begin your first game drive, exploring the open grasslands, seasonal lakes, and acacia woodlands. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife.
Arrive at your camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation under the African sky.

Full-Day Ndutu Wildlife Experience

Today is dedicated to exploring the remarkable Ndutu ecosystem. After an early breakfast, set out with your experienced safari guide for a full day of game viewing across the Ndutu plains and surrounding areas.
Ndutu is particularly famous during the Great Migration calving season, generally from January to March, when large herds of wildebeest gather to give birth. This seasonal gathering attracts predators, creating exceptional opportunities to observe lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. 
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive. Your guide will follow recent wildlife sightings and herd movements to maximize your chances of memorable encounters and photography.
Return to camp in the late afternoon to relax, enjoy dinner, and share stories of the day's adventures.

Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Rise early for breakfast before departing Ndutu and travelling toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive on the crater floor.
Explore the crater's diverse habitats, including open grasslands, woodland, and wetlands, while searching for elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, lions, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the crater excursion before ascending the crater walls and beginning your drive back to Arusha. You will arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening, depending on road conditions and the time spent viewing wildlife.
Your safari concludes with a drop-off at your Arusha hotel or another agreed location.
