Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transfer to the SGR train station. Board the train to Morogoro, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, you will meet your professional safari guide, who will welcome you and transfer you to Mikumi National Park.

Enjoy a full-day game drive through Mikumi’s beautiful open savannahs, searching for fascinating wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, and various bird species. Your experienced guide will help you discover the park’s rich wildlife and diverse landscapes while sharing interesting insights about the animals and their natural habitats.

After an early breakfast at the camp, you will depart for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, exploring its beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife habitats. Drive across the open savannahs, visit waterholes, and explore areas around the hippo pools, where wildlife frequently gathers. With the guidance of your experienced safari guide, look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by the natural beauty of the African wilderness. In the afternoon, continue exploring different sections of the park, offering more opportunities for wildlife sightings and photography. Full-day Game Hiking to Sanje Waterfall

Program of the Day: Hiking to Sanje Waterfall in Udzungwa Mountains National Park

After breakfast, depart for Udzungwa Mountains National Park, where you will enjoy an exciting guided hiking adventure through lush tropical rainforest. Accompanied by an experienced local guide, explore the park’s rich biodiversity as you follow forest trails toward the magnificent Sanje Waterfall, cascading approximately 170 meters down the mountainside. Along the way, admire breathtaking panoramic views, discover unique plant species, and look out for endemic monkeys and colorful birds. Upon reaching the waterfall, enjoy the spectacular scenery and, if conditions permit, take a refreshing swim in the natural pools at its base. After this memorable nature experience, begin your return journey through the forest before driving back toward Mikumi National Park. You will arrive at your comfortable camp near the park, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.

After the visit, transfer to Morogoro SGR Station and board your train to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, your safari services will end, marking the conclusion of your memorable wildlife, nature, and cultural adventure.
