Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Depart from Arusha after breakfast and travel to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife destinations. Enjoy a game drive through landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which attracts large herds of elephants and other wildlife, especially during the dry season. Look out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes and, with luck, lions and leopards. After an exciting day exploring the park, continue to your lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and journey through the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Serengeti National Park. Enjoy magnificent views of the highlands before entering the vast open plains of the Serengeti, famous for their abundant wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Along the way, experience game viewing opportunities as you search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and predators such as lions and cheetahs.
