Drive to Hawesaa via Abijatshall National Park

After breakfast, depart Addis Ababa and travel south through Ethiopia’s beautiful Great Rift Valley. En route, visit Abijatta-Shalla National Park, known for its scenic alkaline lakes, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and diverse birdlife. Look out for ostriches, gazelles, warthogs, and other wildlife before continuing to Hawassa, a charming lakeside city. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Hawessa and fish market and drive back to Addis ababa

After breakfast, visit the lively Hawassa Fish Market to observe local fishermen and experience the city’s vibrant lakeside culture. Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Hawassa, with opportunities to spot hippos and various waterbirds. Continue to Amora Gedel, a popular birdwatching area, to discover the region’s rich birdlife. Later, drive back to Addis Ababa and visit the Ethnological Museum at Addis Ababa University, where you can learn about Ethiopia’s diverse cultures, traditions, and history before concluding your tour.
