Nairobi - Tsavo East National Park

On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our company representatives for meet, greet, and later driven to Tsavo East National Park. You will be driven a long Mombasa road onto Tsavo East National Park. This park is renowned for its large number of elephants and famous man eating lions. You will arrive in time for check inn and lunch. This will be follwed by an afternoon game drive across the park's expansive plains, searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators that inhabit this remarkable ecosystem. Look out for Tsavo's famous red elephants, whose distinctive colour comes from dusting and bathing in the park's reddish soil. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Explore Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast from the lodge, you will have a full day in the park in search of its popular residents, including well known predators, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos. Depending on the route and prevailing conditions, visit the surroundings of Aruba Dam, a popular water source that can attract a variety of animals, or explore scenic areas along the Galana River. Lunch will be served at a picnic site. Continue with an afternoon game drive, taking time to appreciate the park's red-earth plains, acacia woodland, and beautiful African sunsets. Return to the lodge for dinner, relaxation, and your second night in the wilderness.
