Fly into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, then transferred to Shishangeni Main Lodge, set in a private concession in Kruger National Park. The scenic drive takes you through the Lowveld to the park gates, offering your first glimpse of the bush as you head into Big Five territory.
On arrival at Shishangeni Main Lodge, check in and settle into your thatched chalet, each with a private balcony overlooking the surrounding wilderness. The lodge combines contemporary comfort with an authentic safari atmosphere, featuring inviting lounge areas, a bar, swimming pool, and viewing decks where wildlife can often be seen from camp.
Enjoy the rhythm of classic safari life: early morning and late afternoon game drives in open vehicles, followed by relaxed downtime during the heat of the day. Between activities, unwind by the pool, watch animals at the nearby waterholes, or simply enjoy the peace of the bush. Evenings are typically spent around the fire in the boma or on the deck.
