Nairobi – Namanga Border – Arusha

Your exciting Kenya–Tanzania safari begins with a morning departure from Nairobi. You will be picked up from your hotel or another agreed location and begin the journey towards Namanga, the official border crossing between Kenya and Tanzania.
Upon arrival at Namanga, you will complete the necessary immigration and customs formalities before entering Tanzania. Ensure that all travel documents, passports, and any required entry authorisations are ready for inspection. After completing the border procedures, continue your journey towards Arusha, an important gateway to the country's famous northern safari circuit.

On arrival in Arusha, transfer to your hotel and complete the check-in process. Enjoy the hotel facilities, or exploring the immediate surroundings if time permits, enjoy dinner at the hotel and prepare for the safari adventure ahead. Your guide will brief you on the following day's activities, including the journey to Tarangire National Park.

Arusha to Tarangire with overnight in Karatu

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy game drives in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other animals, with a picnic lunch in the park. In the afternoon, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight accommodation.

This is a long transfer day, and arrival time will depend on road conditions, border processing, and your accommodation's location. Upon arrival, transfer to your agreed drop-off point in Nairobi, marking the end of your safari.
