Arusha - Tarangire

You will be picked up from the hotel or Kilimanjaro airportt early in the morning and depart for Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy an enroute game drive through the park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Look out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impalas and, with luck, lions and leopards. Arrive intime for lunch and after lunch enjoy the afternoon gamedrive at the park.

Tarangire National park full day

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Explore different areas of the park, including the Tarangire River, where wildlife gathers, especially during the dry season.

This is an excellent opportunity to observe elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and a variety of bird species. Predators such as lions may also be spotted resting beneath trees or searching for prey.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to camp in the late afternoon to relax and enjoy dinner.

Tarangire to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying the scenic landscapes of the Tanzanian countryside along the way.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and enjoy a relaxing break. After lunch, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon game drive. Explore the crater floor, home to an impressive concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy the spectacular scenery as you explore this unique natural environment and search for wildlife. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
