Kampala/Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe. Drive north through the beautiful Ugandan countryside to Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying views of local communities, farms and changing landscapes along the way. You will stop for lunch along the way before continuing to the park. Upon arrival, enter the park and drive through Budongo Forest, experiencing large troops of olive baboons along the drive to the Top of the Falls.

You will proceed to the Top of Murchison Falls, where the powerful Nile River is squeezed through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically below. Enjoy spectacular views of the rushing water, feel the refreshing spray and take memorable photographs as you witness the immense power of the falls. Thereafter, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise

Wake up early and embark on an exciting morning game drive across the park's savannah plains, when wildlife is most active. Explore the game tracks with your experienced guide while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, warthogs, antelopes and predators. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation before lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile toward the base of Murchison Falls. You'll cruise close to the riverbanks and observe large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and numerous waterbirds. The boat trip provides a wonderful opportunity to experience the park's wildlife from a different perspective before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
