Nairobi - Maasai mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from a designated meeting point in Nairobi at 7:30 am before departing for the Masai Mara National Reserve. En route, you will make a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can admire the breathtaking scenery, vast landscapes, and surrounding mountains. The Great Rift Valley is one of Africa’s most remarkable geographical features, stretching from the Middle East through East Africa and down to Mozambique.

You will then continue your journey to the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your camp. In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting game drive in search of the Big Five and other wildlife, including the famous big cats. Return for dinner and an overnight stay at Olmoran Tented Camp.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. The reserve is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife and forms part of the greater Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. Explore its vast savannah plains in search of the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and, with luck, black rhinos. You may also spot zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and other wildlife roaming freely across the plains. The Mara River is home to hippos and crocodiles, while the reserve is renowned for the spectacular annual wildebeest migration.

After a rewarding day of wildlife viewing, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart from the Masai Mara and journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying the scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure, relaxing at the lodge and preparing for the next day’s wildlife adventure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
