Your driver-guide picks you up at your hotel in Nairobi after breakfast and heads south along the Mombasa highway to Tsavo East National Park (approx. 5–6 hours). Arrive at Ashnil Aruba Lodge in time for a late lunch, with views over Aruba Dam. Afternoon game drive in search of the famous red elephants, lions, buffalo and other plains game.
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 2
Exlporing Tsavo East
Exlporing Tsavo East
Set out after an early breakfast for a long game drive deep into Tsavo East, with a picnic lunch packed by the lodge and enjoyed out in the bush. Follow the Galana River and the open savannahs around Aruba Dam to Mudanda Rock, where elephants gather to drink below the rock. Excellent chances of large elephant herds, lions, cheetah and prolific birdlife. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon as wildlife comes down to Aruba Dam.

Day 3
Tsavo East – Tsavo West National Park
Tsavo East – Tsavo West National Park
Morning game drive in Tsavo East, then transfer to Tsavo West National Park, arriving at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge in time for check-in and lunch overlooking its busy waterhole. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive through the park’s dramatic scenery: Shetani Lava Flow, Chaimu Crater and the lush oasis of Mzima Springs, where hippos and crocodiles can be seen from the underwater viewing chamber.

Day 4

Tsavo West – Nairobi
Early morning game drive in Tsavo West, when the light is soft and the animals are most active, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Depart for Nairobi via Mtito Andei, with a lunch stop along the way. Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where your safari ends with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
