Lake Manyara National Park

Today, explore Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying beautiful lake views and a game drive through its lush woodlands and open grasslands. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, and buffaloes, along with a colourful variety of birdlife. With luck, you may even spot one of Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions.

Visit the hippo pool, where you can step out at the designated viewing area to stretch your legs and watch hippos resting in the water. After your game drive, continue to Farm of Dreams Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay on a full-board basis.

Karatu - Serengeti Ndutu

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a scenic drive to Ndutu in the southern Serengeti ecosystem, spanning the Serengeti and Ngorongoro conservation areas. Spend the next two days enjoying game drives across its open plains and acacia woodlands.

From December to March, the green season attracts vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. During peak calving season, thousands of wildebeest calves are born each day, drawing predators to the plains. Look out for lions, cheetahs, and leopards, along with the more elusive caracal, serval, and African wildcat.

Full Day Ndutu

Spend a full day exploring Ndutu’s sweeping plains and acacia woodlands, searching for the Great Migration herds. From December to March, wildebeest and zebras gather here to graze, creating spectacular wildlife-viewing opportunities.

Serengeti Ndutu - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, journey to the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive surrounded by spectacular scenery. Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Its grasslands, wetlands, and lakes also support a rich variety of birdlife.

Formed millions of years ago when a volcano collapsed, this vast caldera creates a remarkable natural setting for wildlife viewing. After your exploration, ascend the crater walls and continue to your reserved accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you from your hotel and take you to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. Enjoy an extensive game drive through landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees, searching for large elephant herds and other wildlife.

The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts animals during the dry season. After lunch and further wildlife viewing, return to Arusha, bringing your safari adventure to a close.
