Tarangire national park

Today after breakfast your driver guide will pick you from your hotel in Arusha and takes you to Tarangire National Park, the home of elephants. You will definitely see many elephants in the park. It's also a great park to spot big cats like lions, cheetahs and leopards, as well as various herbivores. The game drive will take you up close to the animals. At midday, enjoy lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site where small monkeys will try to scare you off your meal.

Serengeti national park

After breakfast, we will head to Ngorongoro as it's a transit way to the Serengeti National Park. We will have a stopover at the viewpoint to enjoy the beautiful view and take pictures, then continue the journey to Serengeti National Park. We will arrive in the afternoon, enjoy our lunch and then head out for a late game drive. Later, we will return to the kubu kubu tented lodge for an overnight stay.

Serengeti national park

Today will be the "Serengeti game viewing day". After breakfast this morning, enjoy an amazing game drive. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is evident here—look for buffalo, hippopotamus, elephant, giraffe, antelope, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, and lions. If you are there during the spectacular wildebeest migration, you will be more than astonished. In the late afternoon, we'll venture out in another game drive.
Everywhere there are animals, monkeys and, yes, birds…but look closely and you will be thrilled to see the huge jungle cats—lion, leopard and cheetah—watching the world go by. And go by it does. Rhino, gazelle, antelope and massive elephants by the hundreds. Animals in the trees, flying, camouflaged in the bush, in rivers and in streams. This is the adventure of a lifetime.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast, you will wind your way towards Ngorongoro Crater, hopefully enjoying more wonder on the way!
Ngorongoro Crater: concealed by the steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, glistening lakes and swamps. The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago.

The drive down into the Crater is an adventure in itself and when you reach the Crater floor, you'll quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.
After a full afternoon inside the Crater, you will drive to your Great view lodge near Mto wa mbu.

Lake manyara national park

This morning, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an exciting game drive. Explore its beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife, including elephants, baboons, giraffes, and the famous tree-climbing lions. The park is also home to over 500 bird species, including flamingos.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before heading out for an afternoon guided walking safari, where you will experience the beauty of the African wilderness on foot.

After your adventure, drive back to Arusha and check in at Arusha Mount Meru Hotel for your overnight stay.
