Arrival & Hike to Sankaber

Drive from Gondar via Debark to the Simien Mountains National Park headquarters to finalize permits and meet your guide and scout. Head into the park for an introductory hike along the northern escarpment ridge. Encounter grazing troops of endemic gelada baboons and take in your first panoramic views before arriving at Sankaber camp.
