Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive through Kenya’s countryside en route to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, diverse wildlife, and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, weather permitting.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and enjoy some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Explore Amboseli’s open plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and numerous bird species. The park’s unique landscapes and abundant wildlife offer excellent opportunities for photography and memorable safari experiences.

As the day draws to a close, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the African wilderness. Rest and prepare for another exciting morning of wildlife viewing in Amboseli before returning to Nairobi the following day.

Amboseli National park to Nairobi

After breakfast, complete your check-out formalities at the lodge before setting out on a final morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. This excursion offers an additional opportunity to observe a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and numerous other species, often seen roaming freely across the open plains. The experience is further enhanced by the spectacular scenic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, whose snow-capped peak provides a striking contrast to the park’s savannah landscape and creates excellent photographic opportunities.

At approximately 11:00 AM, depart Amboseli and begin the drive back to Nairobi, passing through the picturesque countryside and small towns along the way. You are expected to arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off either at your hotel for onward accommodation or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your departing flight, marking the conclusion of your safari experience.
