Arrival in Uganda | Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver/guide for a brief safari briefing before transferring to your hotel. Once you get to the hotel, you will go for lunch, check in and spend the day resting in preparation for your adventure.

Shoebill Experience | Transfer to Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to Mabamba Swamp in Entebbe for a 1-hour boat ride to search for the shoebill stork in its natural habitat.

Afterward, begin the 6-to-8-hour journey to Kibale National Park, stopping at the Equator for photos and enjoying lunch along the way. Check in at your lodge upon arrival to relax for the evening.

Chimpanzee Tracking

Start the day with breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on tracking guidelines. Please wear warm clothing, long trousers, and waterproof boots, and carry water, a hat, and a snack.

Chimpanzee tracking takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, followed by 1 full hour observing the chimpanzees once located. Return to the lodge to freshen up, enjoy lunch, and relax for the rest of the day.

Bigodi Swamp Walk | Transfer to Entebbe Airport

After breakfast, visit Bigodi Swamp for a guided nature walk. Afterward, commence the journey back to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight, with lunch en route.
