Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Samburu National Reserve. Enjoy the beautiful views of the countryside and Mount Kenya along the way. On arrival, check in at your camp or lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive in the reserve. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions and other wildlife. You may also spot some of Samburu's special animals, such as the Grevy's zebra and reticulated giraffe. After the game drive, return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drive in Samburu National Reserve

After an early breakfast, leave the camp with your packed picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Explore different parts of the reserve as you look for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, Grevy's zebras, reticulated giraffes and gerenuks. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where many animals come to drink water. At lunchtime, stop at a designated picnic site and enjoy your packed lunch. After lunch, continue with your game drive as you explore more of the reserve. In the late afternoon, return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.
