Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary

Your journey begins with a hotel pickup and transfer to Miritini Station for the modern SGR train ride to Voi. Upon arrival, your safari guide transfers you to Ngutuni Lodge, situated inside a private 10,000-acre conservancy bordering Tsavo East. Enjoy lunch overlooking the lodge's active waterhole, where red-dusted elephants and buffalos gather. As the heat cools, set out on an afternoon game drive across red-dirt tracks, followed by dinner and a spotlight night game drive to spot elusive nocturnal species. (Optional at extra cost: room upgrades or private bush dinner).

After an early breakfast, depart on a day excursion to the nearby Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, famous for its dramatic mountain backdrops and rich biodiversity. Enjoy game drives tracking cheetahs, giraffes, and birdlife across the 28,000-acre sanctuary. In the late afternoon, return to the tranquil surroundings of Ngutuni Conservancy. Unwind with dinner overlooking Ngutuni's floodlit waterhole.

Morning Game Drive and Departure

Wake up early for an exciting sunrise game drive as the first golden light hits the scenic Sagala Hills, capturing active wildlife at dawn. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before checking out. Following breakfast, enjoy a smooth transfer directly to the Voi SGR train station for your relaxing rail journey back to the coast. Upon arrival at the Mombasa terminus, your private driver will meet you for a comfortable transfer, arriving back at your beach resort in the late afternoon with unforgettable safari memories.
