Upon arrival, your Step One Africa Adventures representative will welcome you at Entebbe International Airport and transfer you to your budget hotel. Depending on your arrival time, relax at the hotel or explore the surrounding area.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After an early breakfast, drive north towards Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest national park. Enjoy the scenic countryside and local communities along the way.
Depending on your schedule and budget, you may stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for optional rhino tracking at an additional cost.
Continue to your lodge and relax in preparation for the next day's wildlife activities.

Murchison Falls game drive and Nile boat cruise

Begin with an early-morning game drive across the park's savannah plains. Look for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, antelopes and other wildlife.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile, where you may see hippos, crocodiles, waterbirds and animals gathering along the riverbanks. The cruise also offers views of the spectacular Murchison Falls, depending on the route.

Visit the top of Murchison Falls and transfer to Kibale

After breakfast, visit the top of Murchison Falls to experience the power of the Nile as it squeezes through a narrow rocky gorge.
Later, travel towards Fort Portal and Kibale Forest through scenic countryside. Arrive at your budget lodge and prepare for the following day's chimpanzee-tracking adventure.

Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest National Park for a guided chimpanzee-tracking experience.
Walk through the tropical rainforest with trained park guides to search for chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Kibale is also known for its other primates and diverse birdlife.
After the activity, return to your lodge to relax or enjoy an optional local experience.

Transfer Queen Elizabeth National Park game drive and Kazinga Channel cruise

Rise early and travel towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, where you may see elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, lions and other wildlife.
Later, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for hippos, crocodiles and birdlife. After your activities, return to your lodge for relaxation.

Return to Entebbe and departure

After breakfast, begin the drive back towards Entebbe International Airport. Depending on your schedule, enjoy a stop at the Equator for photographs and souvenir shopping.
Your guide will transfer you to the airport for your onward. For early departures, an overnight stay in Entebbe the previous night may be necessary.
