Day 1

Pick from the Air port and transfer to Jinja

Today you will be picked up from Entebbe International Airport and be transferred to Bujagali Falls in Jinja for your overnight stay at The Haven Lodge.

En route we will drive through Kampala (Uganda’s capital), stop at sugar cane and tea plantations and take pictures in the Mabira Forest and at Nile Breweries.

Day 2

Jinja

We will have breakfast at 8:00am and then make our away between 9:00-9:30am to the briefing point for our whitewater rafting adventure (a five minute journey).

We can do a half or full day on the water. During the half day tour we cover five rapids and on the full day tour we cover eight rapids. This activity does not require experience and lunch is provided.

Day 3

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

In the morning, you will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, one of the biggest conservation areas in Uganda. You can expect to see elephants, lions, hyenas, buffalos, hippopotamus, different types of antelope, birds, warthogs, giraffes, and many, many others!

Day 4

Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park

In the morning, you will go on a game drive in the Delta area, which features the greatest concentration of wildlife in the park. Expect to see animals similar to what you saw on yesterday’s game drive. In the afternoon, you will go on an afternoon boat ride along the mighty Nile River to base of the falls. From here you will hike with a park guide to the top, at which point you will meet with your driver-guide and make your way back to Hoima Town for your overnight stay.

Day 5

Transfer to Kibale National Park game drive and boat

Transfer to Kibale National Park game drive and boat

In the morning you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park. En route you will see the rocky historical site near Kyenjojo town. It is here where people go to pray for Uganda’s martyrs and carve their names on rocks. You will also see tea plantations and enjoy great views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Your overnight will be at the Chimpanzee Forest Lodge.

Today is your long-awaited chimpanzee experience! You will start with an early breakfast and then collect your packed lunch. Our briefing begins at 6:30am and then we will head off to see the chimpanzees coming out of their nests. Spend the whole day with these primates until you get your fill or until they finish making their new nests. This is a once in a lifetime experience!

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today you will transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park, stopping en route at the equator in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way there is also the possibility of sighting wildlife along the road, visiting tea plantations, partaking in the Kitagata Hot Springs and basking in the beautiful views of the volcanic mountains along the Ugandan, Rwandan and DRC borders.

Today will be spent on a gorilla trek. This is a memorable experience that can take approximately three to eight hours -depending on the movements of the gorillas. You will be required to carry a packed lunch, drinking water, rain gear, long sleeved shirts and good hiking shoes. After your trek, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, which is considered the most beautiful lake in the country. It has around 29 islands and is safe for swimming!
