Day 1

Depart from Nairobi in the morning and proceed to Amboseli National Park. The park is located at the foot of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which is Africa’s highest mountain. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in. The afternoon game drive will allow you the opportunity to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant) among other African wildlife. The park also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and great bird watching. Dinner and overnight stay are at Sentrim Amboseli.

Day 2

Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha

Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will have a half day game drive. Amboseli National park is dominated by the large herds of African elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and flamingoes at Lake Amboseli which is slowly forming in the park. Predators such as the cat family are not a guarantee to be spotted in this park such as lions and cheetahs. And if you spot them it will only be for a short while then vanish for some time. All this with Mount Kilimanjaro snow caps in the background. With lunch en route as you drive to Lake Naivasha for check-in and overnight stay at Camp Carnelley's.

Day 3

Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will proceed for a boat trip on the lake. This fascinating activity will present an opportunity to observe the variety of birdlife at the lake. The shores of the lake are hilly and green and form the perfect backdrop for a walking safari also. During this walk of a few hours you might run into hippos, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, waterbucks and other animals. Sometimes it’s even possible to get quite close to for example the giraffes. Once you reach the top of a hill you also get a beautiful view over the glistering lake. After lunch you will leave Lake Naivasha for a drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Dinner and overnight stay is at Sentrim Mara.

Exploring Masai Mara

Spend the whole day in Masai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park. Otherwise, you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. Return for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast, you will have a visit to the maasai village. Here you will a chance to interact with the Maasai and get a glimpse into their culture, unique way of life and see first hand some of their customs and practices. Thereafter you will say goodbye to the landscapes of Mara as you leave for Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon, have lunch at the carnivore restaurant then leave for drop-off at your hotel, or proceed on an included transfer to the airport for your flight home.
