Arrive at Camelthorn Lodge

Guests will arrive to check in at the lodge in either their own vehicle on in transport arranged prior. After settling into their private villa, guests can enjoy lunch before setting out on one of the lodge's many activities. If arranged prior, guests can enjoy a day excursion to the lodge's boreholes where they will provide the pump attendants with rations and necessary supplies. They can then enjoy a leisurely game drive. Guests can also opt for a game drive through the Hwange National Park. For the photographer, an afternoon in the lodge's hide is a must for those who want up-close shots of big game. Come nightfall, guests can venture out on a night drive to see some of the reserve's nocturnal animals before returning to the lodge to share stories over sumptuous cuisine and a well-earned night cap.

Departure from lodge

Guests can wake early for a morning game drive or guided safari walk, or just enjoy a lie-in as the wild gets ready for the day. After an African sunrise, and several big game sightings, guests will return to the lodge for breakfast and check out from the lodge. Guests can self drive from the lodge or road transfers can be arranged at an additional cost.
