Today you will be welcomed by our safari guide at Kigali Airport who will brief you shortly about your safari, drive north of Rwanda to volcanoes National Park viewing spectacular scenery of the virunga mountains. You will have dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Gorilla tracking - visit the beautiful twin lakes of Burera and Buhondo

Breakfast and head to the park head quarters with packed mineral water for briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas, before you proceed to track ask for tracking stick if you need it form the office and enter the bamboo forest searching for gentle giants which ranges between 2-6 hours depending on their movement. Stay with the gorillas for strictly 1 hour and then return to the lodge for late lunch and take a community walk or visit the beautiful twin lakes; Burera and Ruhondo.

Golden monkey tracking

After breakfast, we shall have briefing and then go to track the golden monkeys in the bamboo forest. Spend time with the golden monkeys, this is a unique experience. If time permits we shall rash to Kigali to briefly visit Gisozi genocide memorial site before transferring to the Airport for your flight back home.
