Day 1

You will be picked up from Johannesburg and head to the Panorama Route and the Kruger Park area. We can pick you up from your hotel, anywhere in Johannesburg, at no extra charge. Your transfer will also be private with no other guests sharing the vehicle, so you can enjoy a relaxed transfer with a stop along the way to buy some refreshments and to stretch your legs.

After the stop, you will make your way to the first stop on the Blyde Canyon Panorama Route, the Three Rondavels, where you will have the most scenic view of the Blyde River Canyon below. Next, you will visit Bourke’s Luck Potholes with its amazing natural rock formations, and lastly, you will stop at the stunning Pinnacle Rock lookout point.

After your last stop, you will head to your accommodation, which is situated only a short drive away from Kruger National Park. Settle in and relax until it’s time to enjoy dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.

Day 2

Kruger Full-Day Open-Vehicle Game Drive

This exciting day starts with an early departure on a full-day Kruger National Park open-vehicle safari. Because of the early start to the day, you will receive a tasty and nutritious breakfast pack the evening before, after dinner, which you can enjoy at a scenic spot inside the park.

You will have the whole day to explore one of the largest wildlife conservation areas in Africa (Kruger National Park) and try to spot Africa’s dangerous Big 5 and other rare and interesting species, fully guided by a highly experienced and qualified nature guide. Enjoy lunch at one of Kruger Park’s restaurants (own account). Afterwards, continue your Kruger Park adventure in the afternoon to try and spot what you might have missed in the morning.

Around 15:00, you will make your way to your accommodation, situated inside Kruger National Park. Settle in and relax until it’s time to enjoy dinner.

Day 3

Walking Safari & Sunset Game Drive in an Open Vehicle

Walking Safari & Sunset Game Drive in an Open Vehicle

Get close to nature on foot with an adrenaline-packed walking safari lasting 3 to 4 hours (the walk can also be replaced with a sunrise game drive). Enjoy a tasty breakfast afterwards, before your search for Africa’s animals continues with another air-conditioned, closed vehicle midday game drive. Visit riverbeds, waterholes and lookout points, to better your chances of spotting wildlife.

The abundance of wildlife in this area attracts all sorts of predators, so be on the lookout for lion, hyena, leopard, cheetah and African wild dog. Don't miss the smaller creatures such as banded mongoose, vervet monkey, honey badger or the impressive Southern ground hornbill and kori bustard (heaviest flying bird in the world).

Head back to camp for a rest until it is time to go on your open-vehicle sunset game drive, starting at 16:30. Enjoy the African sunset as well as the nocturnal animals that begin to stir. Enjoy your last night in the African wilderness.

Day 4

Transfer Back to Johannesburg

You will enjoy a relaxed morning, waking up to a beautiful African sunrise. Enjoy a delicious breakfast before departing around 09:00 to make your way back to Johannesburg.

Your transfer will be private, so you will be able to enjoy a relaxed and scenic drive back, with a comfortable stop along the way to stretch your legs or buy refreshments. Arrive in Johannesburg in the afternoon.

Alternatively, you can choose to do a last activity, such as a last morning game drive (closed or open vehicle), go on an elephant tour or enjoy a Gorge Glasslift Experience before making your way back to Johannesburg.
