Day 2

Transfer to Murchison Falls National park

You leave for Murchison Falls National Park, stopping at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which falls in route. Objective of creating the sanctuary was to save Uganda’s rhinos from complete extinction. Sight of black and white rhinos here is certainly going to delight the wildlife enthusiasts. This is a safari where you may remain just a few feet away from the rhinos. For crossing the Nile River, you will catch a ferry. Overnight stay is at the Lodge.”

Day 3

Game drives – afternoon boat safari

After taking breakfast you leave for an early morning game drive across the undulating land of Uganda’s largest National Park. The vast park is home to a number of animal species. You get a chance of viewing some of the park animals that include lions, giraffes and hartebeest. Birders will appreciate watching the secretary bird and the black chested snake eagle.
Post afternoon, you go for a exhilarating boat trip to world famous Murchison Falls, where the Nile falls through a small 7 meter gap 43 meters down into Lake Albert. At the banks of the Nile, you will find creatures like crocodiles and hippopotamus. You may also decide to get off hike up the side of the falls.

Day 4

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Transfer to Kibale National Park

This morning you will drive to Fort portal immediately after your breakfast and you will have an en route lunch. You will have spectacular views of the magnificent scenery as you drive through the traditional homesteads and farms on your way to Kibale. Upon your arrival in the park, take a guided forest walk where you will explore round the Bunyaruguru crater region and expose you to the park habitant species like the Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Red Colobus Monkey, L’hoests, Black And White Colobus Monkey, and Vervet Monkey. Dinner overnight.

Chimp Tracking – Bigodi swamp walk

Today, you will wake up early have a quick breakfast and get ready for a lifetime experience of tracking down the chimpanzees in their natural habitant in the rich primate tropical Kibale forest. Report to the park headquarters with your packed lunch immediately after your breakfast where you will be briefed about the chimp trackers code of conduct by a UWA official. Thereafter you will penetrate through the misty forest under the guidance of an armed ranger for the tracking. You may spot other primates during the tracking and these may include the Vervet Monkey, L’hoests, Blue Monkey, Red-Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Black And White Colobus Monkey and many more. Retire for dinner and overnight.

Transfer from Kibale after your breakfast for the most popular protected area with a stunning location on the rift valley floor between Lakes Edward and George. You will enjoy a game drive as you enter the park that will expose you to the diverse wildlife. You may spot the Elephants, Buffalos; Uganda Kob with luck you may also spot the Hyena, Lions, Leopard and perhaps the Giant Forest Hog. Dinner and overnight.

Come afternoon and you go taking a cruise along the Kazinga Channel that hosts one of the largest concentrations of hippopotamus. You proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a two night stay. It is home to over half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. For anyone, interacting with these gentle giants is a kind of experience you will never forget. Bwindi rain forest spans 321 sq km and has 90 mammal species that includes primates as well as 23 Albertine Rift endemic bird species.

You will penetrate through the misty impenetrable Bwindi forest for a more adventurous an exciting lifetime experience of Mountain Gorilla tracking. The tracking duration depends on the ease to see the gorilla that day. You will spot other forest wildlife in these trails that may include the Black And White Colobus Monkeys, Red Tailed Colobus, Blue Monkey, L’hoests and baboons and many more. You will have dinner and overnight.

After early breakfast, you will leave Bwindi for Lake Mburo National Park immediately after your breakfast. Embark on an afternoon game viewing boat trip along Lake Mburo that will expose to the park’s wildlife. Possible sightings on this trip may include the hippos, a variety of water birds that may include the African Fin foot, Pelicans, Black crake, Heron, cormorant, fish eagle if lucky you will spot the rare shoebill stork. Dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Entebbe

Transfer to Entebbe

Have an encounter with the morning riser’s in the park in the morning game drive after your breakfast. Drive through the humid acacia forest, were you expect to see the park endemics like the Giant eland, Impala and Burchell’s zebra besides other wildlife including the Buffalo, Oribi, Waterbucks, Reedbuck and the Rare Sitatunga. Thereafter depart for Entebbe with an en route lunch stopove. You will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
