Transfer to Kibale National park

After early breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park in Western Uganda. The star of the park is man's closet cousin- the chimpanzee. Keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys you continue the scenic drive to the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp.

Chimpanzee tracking- Bigodi nature walk

After breakfast the today, head into Kibale National head park offices for chimpanzee tracking briefing. This tropical rain forest harbors 13 different primate species, including chimpanzees, black-and white Columbus, red tailed and blue monkeys, and the rare l’Hoest’s monkey. After a morning of chimpanzee tracking, you will have lunch and in the after you will take a short walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, on the lookout for primates, butterflies, and some 200 species of birds. Later, a resident primatologist joins us for a special talk.
