Your driver will meet you on arrival in Nairobi and transfer you to Eka Hotel Nairobi. After a short briefing, settle into your room and rest from your journey. No game drive or other listed wildlife viewing activity is scheduled.

Day 2
Amboseli Game Drive

After breakfast, drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park and check in at Kibo Safari Camp for the included lunch. In the afternoon, meet your guide for a game drive in a pop-up-roof minivan. Amboseli’s open areas and wetlands offer opportunities to look for elephants and other wildlife. On a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro may appear beyond the plains, though the view depends on weather. Return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Set out after breakfast for another game drive in Amboseli National Park in your pop-up-roof minivan. Your guide will explore the park’s open ground and wetland edges, looking for elephants, grazers and birdlife. The exact route follows recent wildlife activity, so sightings cannot be promised. Return to Kibo Safari Camp for the included lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure, perhaps relaxing by the pool before dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Aberdare Waterhole

Leave Amboseli after an early breakfast and travel toward the Aberdare Range with the included lunch along the way. Check in at Aberdare Country Club before transferring to The Ark Lodge, where viewing areas overlook a waterhole visited by wildlife. Watch quietly for animals that may come to drink, then enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. This section does not include a game drive. Children under seven require prior arrangements at The Ark, and larger luggage is normally held at the base hotel.

Samburu Wildlife and River Country

Travel north through the Kenyan highlands toward Samburu National Reserve, with a stop near the equator and views of Mount Kenya if the weather is clear. Arrive at Samburu Sopa Lodge for the included lunch, then take an afternoon game drive in a pop-up-roof minivan. The reserve is known for dry-country wildlife such as Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk and reticulated giraffe, though sightings vary. On the following morning, continue exploring Samburu on another guided game drive, with time to enjoy the landscape and riverine habitats. Meals and overnight stays are at the lodge.

Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Spend time relaxing by the freshwater lake and watching for birdlife from suitable viewing areas. You may notice hippos or other animals around the lake, but sightings are unpredictable. Dinner and an overnight stay are at the resort. This is a travel and relaxation stop; no game drive, boat trip or other listed wildlife viewing activity is scheduled.

Masai Mara Game Drives

After breakfast, travel to the Masai Mara and settle in at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge. Head into the reserve for an afternoon game drive in your pop-up-roof minivan, looking for grazers, predators and birds across its rolling grasslands. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. The next morning, explore further on guided game drives, with time to follow current wildlife activity and take in the changing scenery. Enjoy the included meals and a second overnight stay at the lodge. Migration movements depend on season and rainfall, and no particular sighting can be promised.

Your guide will coordinate the journey and the included lunch with your onward flight schedule before taking you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for drop-off. The safari ends at the airport. This is a road transfer and departure section, with no game drive or other listed wildlife viewing activity scheduled.
