Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation and depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of approximately two hours. Renowned for its vast elephant herds and majestic ancient baobab trees, Tarangire offers a remarkable introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife.
Upon arrival, you will embark on an exciting game drive in an open-roof safari vehicle, allowing excellent opportunities to observe and photograph the park’s diverse wildlife across its varied landscapes. A picnic lunch will be served at a carefully selected scenic spot overlooking the park, after which you will continue with further game viewing in the afternoon.

Your day will start at 0700hrs with a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. Due to the high crater walls (2000ft), very few animals migrate in and out of the area. You can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, a variety of birds and many other animal species. Your driver-guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skills at locating hidden animals. After a picnic lunch and further exploration in the Ngorongoro Crater we will drive to the Twiga campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.
