Arrival and Transfer to the Hotel in Entebbe for Overnight

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for an overnight stay on a Bed & Breakfast (BB) basis. Accommodation will be at Boma Guest House. Guests may upgrade to Hotel Number 5 or Protea Hotel Entebbe at an additional supplement. Enjoy a relaxing evening and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Entebbe – Bwindi Impenetrable

After breakfast early morning at 6.30 am you will be driven back to the Airport for your flight to Kihihi / Kisoro airstrip at 7:00AM. This is a 2 hours flight and once you get to Kihihi / Kisoro airstrip, you will be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon you could choose to relax or go for the Batwa Cultural experience (optional)
Overnight and dinner at Gorilla Safari Lodge.

Gorilla tracking in the rain tropical forest

After an early breakfast and briefing from the guides of Uganda Wildlife Authority, set off for the gorilla tracking in the forest. The activity starts at 8.00am, you join the other members according to the distribution of the gorilla families, only eight per family each day. You need to carry with you the packed lunch, enough drinking water, rain jacket in case of rain and trekking boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. You can also hire a porter and pay him a tip to help you carrying the bag. It is unpredictable how long will take to find the primates as they freely move into the forest. However, the encounter with the gorillas, lasting for about one hour, certainly is a rewarding experience and an unforgettable one. After the trekking you go back to the lodge at leisure. Packed lunch for the day. According to the time spent for the trekking, the rest of the day is free at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge.

Transfer from Bwindi – Entebbe

After breakfast, transfer to Kihihi/ Kisoro airstrip, where you will get on to your scheduled flight to Entebbe at 07.45AM with arrival in Entebbe at 11.25AM, there after connect for your international flight onwards.
