Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara

Nairobi - Masai Mara

We pick you up from your hotel and depart from Nairobi at 08h30 toward Masai Mara. You will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for sightseeing and photography. Continue driving and have another stopover at Narok for lunch, the last town before Masai Mara. We arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve in the late afternoon. We do an afternoon game drive up to 18h30 and then return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Masai Mara

Masai Mara

Today, we go on a full-day game drive in Masai Mara with a picnic lunch served at the Mara River. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Later, we return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3

Mara - Nakuru

Mara - Nakuru

Take a visit to Masai Village for cultural experiences and then depart to Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific birdlife including flamingoes. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino, while species like the Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. We arrive in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Nakuru - Amboseli

Nakuru - Amboseli

Have an early-morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific birdlife including flamingoes. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like the Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Later, we leave for Amboseli with lunch on the way, arriving in the evening. On a clear day, you will see Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Day 5

We go on morning and afternoon game drives on the park's dusty roads (in the Maasai language Amboseli means "dusty whirlwinds"). You're likely to spot wildebeest, giraffe, gazelle, impala, and zebra which are attracted to the marshes and swamps fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. You may also spot lions on the fringes of the marshes as well as a great variety of birdlife (some 425 bird species populate the park). Amboseli is popular as it is home to hundreds of elephants, and with Kilimanjaro providing a dramatic backdrop, your photographs will be stunning. We return for dinner and overnight at the camp.
