Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by an Across the Wild Safaris representative for a short safari briefing. You will then be introduced to your professional driver-guide and depart Nairobi on a scenic drive toward the Mount Kenya region, passing through Kenya’s fertile highlands.

Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp in time for lunch, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kenya. After a brief rest, proceed for an afternoon game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, renowned for its exceptional wildlife conservation efforts. Ol Pejeta is Kenya’s only sanctuary dedicated to the rehabilitation of rescued chimpanzees, offering them a natural, protected habitat. The conservancy is also a leading black rhino breeding center and home to the Big Five.

Return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay in elegant tented luxury.

Day 2

Mount Kenya to the Pink Lake of Nakuru

After breakfast, depart the Mount Kenya region and journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s premier wildlife destinations and a true birdwatcher’s paradise. Arrive in time for lunch at Egret Savannah Camp, ideally located close to the park and offering a relaxed safari atmosphere.

After lunch, enjoy time at leisure before afternoon tea and coffee at 3:30 pm. Thereafter, proceed for a rewarding late afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Explore the famous “Pink Lake,” known for its flamingos and rich birdlife, and visit the park’s important rhino sanctuary, home to both black and white rhinos, as well as other resident wildlife.

Return to Egret Savannah Camp in the early evening for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful natural setting of the Rift Valley.

After breakfast, depart for the highlight of your safari, the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve, located in southwest Kenya.
