1-Day Inner Delta Boat Tour

• You'll be collected from the airport.

You will be picked up from the Hotel/Guest house of your choice or Maun Airport to the boat station at around 0800 am depending on the season, you will travel at least 45 mins before you reach the Park Entrance, (Boro Gate), you will begin the day by enjoying sightings of various animals on your way to the Inner Delta where more game is expected. During the trip around midday we will reach the turning point near Chiefs Island where your guide will take you for a 1 hour game walk where you will have a chance to view and see wildlife at a close range and learn more of the archeology of the area. Once back at the boat landing your guide will set up a picnic lunch with table and chairs. After lunch you may rest in a shady, beautiful setting to soak up the peace and serenity of the Okavango delta. You then depart for the downstream return trip at around 2pm then arrive in Maun at 4pm. Where possible, depending on water levels you may use a different combination of channels on your way back.
