Day 1

Arusha / Tarangire National Park

Arusha / Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up, and your safari will commence. You will drive from Moshi to Tarangire National Park. This takes approximately 3 hours. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree-climbing African pythons. The park covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers. You will enjoy a daylong of game viewing, with a picnic lunch looking out over the river to break up the time in the car. After a nice game drive before it gets dark, you will drive to the lodge or campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti is one of the biggest park in the country. The vast open spaces of the plains provide an impressive feeling of freedom. You will drive along Lake Natron, the heart of the Massailand before reaching the Serengeti gate. This semi-arid environment attracts many waterbirds and is an important site of breeding and nesting for the lesser flamingo. At your arrival in the Serengeti, you will do your first game drive while heading to your Accommodations.

After breakfast, you’ll say goodbye to Lake Natron and hello to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. But first, you’ll travel through the bustling towns of Loliondo and Wasso through Klein’s Gate at the northeast entrance to the park. This road trip takes in an array of sites: towns and villages, savannah and forest, and you’ll be able to spot animals like antelope, wildebeest and zebra. You’ll arrive at our campsite in the center of the Serengeti where you can stretch your legs and then fill up with a delicious dinner in time for a good night’s sleep. Get ready for your full day’s adventures tomorrow.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a once in a lifetime safari tour. The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown, this thick volcanic crater is the most significant unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. Upon descending to the crater floor, you will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, which is one of the
crater’s leading features.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

Breakfast at 0700am. Pick up from the Lodge at 0800am and drive on tarmac road 60km with lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park 330sq km or 127 sq mile’s on the base of the Great Rift Valley, for the Afternoon game drives. The park is home to Lion, Hippo, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog and more. About 350 species of birds have be en recorded. This small park contains also five distinct vegetation zones. Thus supporting a large variety of birds and animals. The Manyara National park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. In this park canoeing has recently been added to the tourist activities in this park at extra cost. This is a great way to see the park from a new perspective. Drop off in Arusha or at airport.
