Day 1

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel for the journey to the Masai Mara. Travel through the dramatic Great Rift Valley, pausing at a viewpoint to photograph its sweeping escarpments and farmlands below. Continue across the highlands to Narok for lunch, then drive onward to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This vast wilderness—part of the Serengeti ecosystem—is renowned for its Big Five sightings and, between July and October, the spectacular Great Migration. On arrival, check into your camp and head out for an evening game drive to spot lions, elephants, and other wildlife as the sun sets over the savannah. Return to camp for dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp (or similar).

Enjoy lunch en route and arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in the afternoon.

This park is famous for its shimmering lake often fringed by flamingos and home to both white and black rhinos. Keep your eyes open for buffalo, giraffes, and elusive leopards along the wooded slopes. Watch for Cape buffalo, impalas, and waterbucks along the shoreline as you exit the park.

Later, depart for Amboseli National Park, driving across the scenic Great Rift Valley and the open plains of southern Kenya. After breakfast at the camp, set out for a full-day adventure in Amboseli National Park — one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations. The early morning offers the best chance to capture breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds cover its snow-capped peak. Enjoy extensive game drives across the park’s open plains, home to large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and lions. Amboseli is also a bird-lover’s haven, with over 400 recorded species.

Stop for a picnic lunch in the park and continue your exploration in the afternoon, when predators often emerge near the marshlands. Later, return to camp to relax and watch the sunset paint the sky in soft hues of gold and pink. Dinner and overnight at Nyati Safari Camp (or similar).
