Durban - Hluhluwe-iMfolozi

After arrival at Durban airport, you will be met and transferred to Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, where you will stay for the next 3 nights. Settle in and then enjoy your first shared afternoon game drive.

Transfer time: ~3 hours.

*Stay a 4th night FREE at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge in September 2026 and only pay for park fees.

Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve

Wake up before dawn for the morning game drive, starting at sunrise. Savour a hot coffee and an early-morning snack before boarding the safari vehicle and departing the lodge in search of animals. Spend 3 hours traversing the bush and looking out for wildlife before they retreat to the shelter of a tree in the heat of the day.

After returning to the lodge for a delectable hot breakfast, you’ll have time to relax and unwind, surrounded by serene African wilderness. There is a complimentary community visit included in your stay, which can be arranged directly at reception.

Afternoon tea is served before your next game drive, departing around 3:30 - 4:30 pm, depending on the time of year. Enjoy a sundowner stop in the bush, returning to the lodge with a spotlight to catch sight of nocturnal animals. Dinner is served before you settle in for the night to the symphony of the wild.

Hluluwe - St Lucia

After your last morning game drive and breakfast in the bush, you will be picked-up again and taken to St Lucia to enjoy the wetlands from there.

In the afternoon you will go on a 2-hour hippo boat cruise.

*Please note: transfers are not included, but can easily be arranged locally.

Transfer time: ~1 1/2 hours.
