Kigali, Rwanda - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Uganda

Wake up for an early breakfast at your hotel or residence in Kigali, Rwanda as you wait for your safari guide-driver. He will meet you and brief you about the Uganda & Rwanda gorilla habituation trip. You will then visit the Kigali Genocide Museum to learn about & pay your respect to the victims of the 1994 Rwanda Genocide. This will be followed by a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda with a lunch stopover on the way, before or after crossing the border. After the journey of about 4 to 5 hours, we arrive at Bwindi National Park and check in at the hotel with possible time to relax and refresh as we wait for dinner. Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp or similar.

Uganda Gorilla Habituation experience, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

An early morning breakfast at 05:00 am will be followed by a transfer to the ranger station at the Rushaga sector with your packed lunch. Accompanied by the Uganda wildlife trackers, rangers & researchers, you will enter the forest & search for the gorilla groups under the process of habituation.
The gorilla habituation experience is a recently introduced activity to mountain gorilla lovers. A limited number of tourists are given the opportunity to experience the gorilla habituation process for 4 hours under the guidance of researchers & trained trackers. This is different from gorilla trekking where 8 people are each assigned a gorilla group & can only watch the gorillas for 1 hour. Pioneered in 2014 by the Uganda Wildlife Authority, the mountain gorilla habituation experience is only possible in Uganda & the lowland gorilla habituation at Kahuzi Biega NP. After the Gorilla habituation experience, return to the lodge to refresh and relax. Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp or similar.

A leisurely breakfast will be followed by transfer back to Kigali leaving the magnificent forest to the gorillas marking the end of 3 Day Uganda Gorilla Habituation Experience from Rwanda. Upon arrival in Kigali, Rwanda your driver guide will be advised on the drop off point and or at your hotel or at the airport targeting for your outbound departure time. End.
