Kigali – Volcanoes National Park/Gorilla Museum Tour

Following an early morning breakfast at your lodge in Kigali, meet with your driver/guide to begin your adventure in Rwanda’s vibrant capital with a reflective visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, honoring the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
Thereafter Depart Kigali and enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive through Rwanda’s iconic rolling hills to Volcanoes National Park, check in at the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch visit the Gorilla Guardian Village and then do the tour of the Gorilla Museum at Ellen DeGeneres Campus/Gorilla Museum, dedicated to the legacy of Dian Fossey and gorilla conservation. Overnight Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or similar.

Gorilla Trekking, Bwindi/Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for your Uganda Gorilla Trekking briefing. With an experienced ranger guide, trek deep into the misty forest to track another gorilla family. As with the previous trek, you’ll spend a precious hour in their presence, typically just 10 meters away. Return to your lodge in the afternoon. Overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel or Similar.
