Rwenzori Mountains Trekking to Sine Camp ( 2, 596m )

Your mountain adventure begins after a trail briefing. Trek through the Afro-montane forest zone along a 9.5 km route, ascending steadily past giant trees, mossy logs, and forest wildlife including colobus monkeys. The trail gets steeper near Sine Camp, where you’ll overnight. Hiking Time: 5–6 hours. Overnight at Sine Hut.

Continue your ascent through the Heather-Rapanea Zone, where moss-draped trees and alpine vegetation dominate the landscape. The route winds across ridges and valleys, with several scenic waterfalls. In the afternoon, opt to summit Mutinda Lookout at 3,975m for panoramic views.

Set out early for the summit of Weismann’s Peak, one of the most accessible peaks in the range. After enjoying the view from 4,620m, descend along a new route through the Nyamwamba Valley to Kiharo Camp, nestled in a forest clearing.
